• Product distribution when mixing the main components of biomass indicated chemical interactions. Production hexose sugar derived compound, from cellulose decreased hemicellulose or lignin were present. The xylan-lignin blend showed negligible interactions compared to other two component blends. Native similar trend as three blends regarding an enhanced yield for hemicellulose-derived products. Fast pyrolysis is industrially attractive method produce fuels and chemicals biomass; however, gain better control over process, reactions between decomposition products need elucidation. This study investigated primary during fast biomass. Pyrolysis (cellulose, lignin) their was carried out with a micro-pyrolyser connected Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectrometer/Flame Ionisation Detector (GC–MS/FID). individual prepared in proportions that native (birchwood) pyrolysed at 600 °C 2 s. results two-component decrease production saccharides large extent. especially noticeable levoglucosan mixed either lignin.
